28th January 2002 Samtack offers high speed 32x10x40 CD-RW & External USB CD-RW drive under RetailPlus brand to the North American channel.

Hot on the heels of the launch last week of the Pine CD-RW and USB External CD-RW Drives, Samtack also announced that it will begin shipping these 2 RetailPlus drives as of 1st February 2002 especially for the channel in Canada and the USA.

RetailPlus 32x10x40 CD-RW Drive
This drive incorporates the world renowned and award winning Nero cd-recording software. Coupled with the current Buffer Underrun Protection Technology, this drive offers fast, reliable burns and optimum performance that make back-up, archiving and storing of data easy.

RetailPlus External USB 2.0 24x10x40 CD-RW Drive
Samtack will be shipping this new product 1st February 2002. This product is specially designed for the North American channel.

For external use, this drive has 24x write, 10x re-write and 40x read speeds. This external drives comes with a USB 2.0 interface, stereo Audio Connector x 2 ( L & R ) and also supports data transfer rate up to 480Mbits/second.
