Currently, we have a network of over 5,000 PC dealers,
systems integrators and consultants across Canada.
Products are very diversified from sale of computer
systems to distribution of other electronic products and
accessories/components including optical & storage
products, video graphics, networking devices and
accessories.
The mass-retailer segment of our
business has grown tremendously over the last 7 years
with revenue generated from this segment constituting 30
% of the overall business. The major chains that support
us in this segment include Best Buy/Future Shop,
Staples, Office Depot, Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club, CompuSmart
and The Source/Radio Shack.
To support this segment, we have a packaging and
re-packaging facility employing the latest UV sealing
machine that can seal 12,000 packages of blister packs
per day. We contract pack for Best Buy/Future Shop and
CompuSmart utilizing their house brands while we also
supply products under our own registered brands viz.
RetailPlus, UltraSpeed and Comstar to Best Buy/Future
Shop, Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club, Staples, The Source/Radio
Shack and Office Depot. Blister packaging helps protect
these retail chains from shoplifters & store shrinkages.

The current production output of Pine factories exceeds 500,000 units of PC component & I.A appliance per month, yet our flexibility allows us to switch lines (within 4 hours) and capacity can reach a staggering one million board-level products per month.

Tehnical support is provided to VAR’s and resellers through Samtack’s toll-free bilingual helplines.
